The perfect weekend

felt so at home at Noah and Stephanie's this past weekend and it was amazing! From the sight seeing and bar hoping I can't decide what my favorite part was. Bookstores, coffee, deep belly laughs, cooking, tucker smooches, Dahvid sounds, bountiful spreads of snacks, movies, music, the food, feeding ducks, Viking beer! I simple cannot decide! Waking up in the morning was the best. The sun would peek it's beautiful face through the green canopy of trees surrounding their cozy house and I would walk sleep eyed down the stairs.  Tucker was tangled in a mess of blankets with Chris, Noah was spinning them records like mad, and Steph and I giggled at vine videos. Dahvid slept in later cause he's a bear and likes to hibernate. My heart was full in those special memories between friends. Here are some snippets of the greatest people you will ever meet and the fun adventures they had.

A sleepy tucker in his natural habitat.
Super Tucker!
Noah and his weenie.
Noah showing me the lake :)
A cozy Christopher
"Ashley I thought I told you no more pictures! More treats peasant! And belly rubs."
"But mom! I'm so cute I get all the treats and pets!"
Noah's taste in music is the best. I bought so many Nick Drake songs.
I can do all this tricks! Watch me y'all!
Have I told you guys how Chris can make anything taste amazing! He's the Egg master!
Even the spiders were cozy!
Tiny tucker!
I loved this so much! They are gonna be warm and toasty in the winter.
Sometimes Chris gets a smart mouth and then I send him to the moon!
Babo was my favorite place in Ann Arbor. A pitcher of sangria and a rainy afternoon with my bae's!
The wonderful dinner we (I mean Chris mostly lol) prepared. Rosemary mashed potatoes, asparagus with shallots and garlic, steak with a mushroom red wine reduction. Tre tre Bon!
Oh the pie! It was the perfect after dinner dessert as I watched garden state for the first time. My stomach was perfectly full and my heart. I can't wait to visit again. I love you guys.

Brunch fun

I had such an amazing time today with this beautiful lady! We didn't let the sun stop us. Oh no! We started early and stayed hydrated and cool. We began our journey with a few shots in Highland Park Village. Que fancy! I love the Spanish tiles!
Then our hungry selves ventured on over to lower Greenville for some light snacks and cocktails at Wayward Sons. I'm slightly sad they didn't play "carry on my wayward son" but that's cool. It was still delicious. Also the waiters were extremely friendly and charming. The house made biscuits and chipped beef gravy were like little pillows of heaven.
Yet we still needed to get or brunch fix on  so not further was Henry's Majestic for small bites and cocktails. Oh gawd that avocado toast with jalapeƱo bacon. Salty creamy goodness.
I love whenever my sister and I get the chance to do this. While it is more enjoyable during the spring and winter months today was such a treat. Literally. We got to brunch all day! Here's to a wonderful week. Salute!
