Just the beginning

Quentin you are the author of your own destiny. Shoot for you dreams and never hold back. Make new friends, see the world, and always be true to yourself. Getting to meet you this last Saturday I can honestly say you are a very strong and focused young man who knows where he is going in life. You have a wonderful family who loves you and wants nothing but the best for you. I hope it wasn't to painful letting me take 322 pictures of you. Yes. We went way over the 200 mark! and I'm already getting calls for the Pulitzer ;) best of luck in all your endeavors and always seize the moment. Make it yours and laugh at everything.

Windy Saturday

Lavender has to be one of the most comforting scents and I have always wanted to grow it.  While it can be used for calm the senses it smells great and is good for you.  This little beauty is going to become a garden by the time I'm through with it. Thanks mom for helping me.

Rosemary is also a fantastic herb. It smells amazing and I always find myself buying it at the store for Roast chicken, rosemary hash, or pot roast.  Ive also heard it repels wasps sooooo that's AWESOME! Because we all know how I feel about them!

Before we got started we had brunch at the Sundown next to the Granada.  Delicious stuff here including brunch specials.  $2.00 mimosas yeah!

While my sister and I kept it simple (eggs and bacon) my mom was the winner with her brisket eggs benny!

I would've loved to have tried the Lavender Collins but I may have had one too many mimosas ;) Next time then.

Our little adventure took us through a detour to the farmers market.  The streets were riddled with rows and rows of garden shops, fruit and vegetables stands, and lots of puppies :D

I'm not sure why but this old cash register really caught my eye and if it was for sale I would have bought it.

I don't really need to say much about this one. She so beautiful the picture speaks for itself.

Balance

I love doing shoots with my sister.  Although most pictures she really criticizes herself but I think through her creativeness brings the photographs to life. Here she helped me portray "balance"   The first two are really what I needed where two subjects both support each other and keep the viewers eye focused on both subjects.

I listen to her tell me stories and sometimes it baffles me that she is only 18.  I ask for her opinion more than anyone else.  Her passion for Christ grows everyday and I am so proud and admire her greatly.  She is lit up with light in this picture and even though she thinks she looks bad (which she does not) Her joy jumps thought the screen and into your heart.

She kept asking me to give her different scenarios and the "sad robot" was probably my favorite.

The last one is my best one I think.  She has a sense of yearning for all the world has to offer and how she will achieve greatness and Gods will in her life. Well I hope you enjoyed these and My next  shots will be unbalanced.
